That's the end of day two. Ponting has another chat with Rauf, this time with a smile on his lips. So that's good. Meanwhile, what a day for the hosts. Amla got out in the forties again but Prince and Kallis charged South Africa to a commanding position. Australians were on a leather hunt, despite Siddle's very disciplined show. McGain was ransacked and the rest weren't that effective.

Prince: " I could have left a few balls last night; played a few shots but I was more settled down this morning. I was nervous last night, wanted to do well and had bit of adrenalin running last night and played probably more shots than I should have. The whole week has been different in terms of preparation. This will be my new role (opening) and I have to do well. You are given a role that you are not entirely used to but you can't say I am happy to be back in the side but want to bat at no 5. you don't have choice."

On that referal: "Your heart starts pumping with that long wait; you don't know what to expect. Well.. what can I say."

On the game:" Lots of credit should go the bowlers, they kept coming hard and to bowl them out for 209 on this wicket is a great thing. Day 2 and day 3 is the best to bat on this track."
